Ethiopia: Boldness of Native Missionaries

“Before COVID-19 became a worldwide problem, I went to a large market area that had people from all the surrounding villages, got on top of a small hill, and started to proclaim the Gospel. This was the first time most of these people had heard of the Gospel, so they said to each other things like, “He is a new mad man that came from another area.”

Although I saw some reacting angrily, I didn’t expect what happened next. As I left the market, a man released a large dog on me. I was chased out by the dog and was eventually able to escape when I reached a house of a women that saw me and let me into her home. As we started talking, she told me she was at the market earlier and began asking me questions about Jesus. After our conversation, she kneeled down and gave her life to Jesus. She then asked to me to come back to her home to witness the Gospel to her husband and children and that she would be praying for my safety.” Praise God!

Please pray that God will continue using our brothers and sisters to take the Gospel to the unreached people of Ethiopia
