Ukraine: "We Need Urgent Help"

These are the words of our partners on the ground shortly after Russia launched a full-blown invasion of Ukraine. Millions of Ukrainian citizens have already been forced to leave their homes, and thousands of civilians have been killed just in the first days of the invasion. Despite all those fleeing the bombings and shelling breaking out throughout the country, GCP’s partners are running toward these war-torn areas to help. However, their limited resources simply can’t keep up with the exploding humanitarian crisis that is unfolding. They need our support URGENTLY.

One of our missionaries from Ukraine has sent us several updates on the country and how we can help these internally displaced people.

“Currently, we are facing war over every major city in Ukraine. Our mission is to help over 1000 homeless children plus dozens of adults to evacuate from Ukraine to Western Ukraine and Europe. We have bought mattresses and prepared spaces for when these refugees arrive. We are also preparing over 1,000 boxes of food. We will need more supplies and necessities for the large number of refugees we are expecting. Please, dear friends, if you are willing through prayer to yield your hearts in a critical time such as this, help us.”

GCP is asking for $25 for one food package and one Bible for a displaced Ukrainian family or for $50 for the financial support of one missionary currently distributing food, ministering to displaced families, and helping evacuate children and other vulnerable Ukrainians from conflict zones. Please prayerfully consider partnering with us to help the millions of Ukrainians in need of support.
