West Bengal: A Fruitful Evangelistic Tool

Our partnered missionary recently sent us a report on the progress his ministry has made on Patharpratima Island in West Bengal. Approximately one year ago, this missionary started a prayer service on the island with just a few people. Over time, more believers began to join  in fellowship and they began to minister to more people on the island. As the church grew, the missionary expanded their ministry into serving the medical needs of the island. Through GCP’s support, this missionary opened a clinic in  Patharpratima and has grown its fellowship into a church of thirty people! The clinic has been a great outreach tool to the community, and many people have heard the Gospel for the first time through this ministry! With the help of these clinics, the ministry leader shared that eight new believers from Hindu backgrounds made the decision to be baptized in Christ! We thank God for this praise report and our generous donors who have supported the medical clinic!
