Bangladesh: A Young Boy’s Testimony
Native missionaries working deep in the jungles not only reach out to adults but also to children. This is the testimony of one of these children reached by one of the missionaries supported by Global Commission Partners in Bangladesh.
“My name is Rengung Mru, I am 15 years old and the youngest of five. I spend my whole day in the crop fields helping my father farm. I studied up to the fourth grade. Although my father wanted me to continue with school, we were very poor, and he could not continue paying for my classes. I had a dream of being a doctor someday, but I realized I would probably spend my whole life on the farm. However, one day, missionary Abinash came to or home and shared about Jesus with me. After a few conversations with this missionary, I realized that Jesus is God and I asked him to become Lord of my life. Now I want to study the Bible and learn about Jesus. In the future I want to become a missionary like the missionary who talked to me.” We praise God for Regung’s testimony and missionary Abinash for sharing the Gospel with him!
Please pray that God will bring forth more native missionaries who will reach adults and children alike with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
