India: COVID-19's Resurgence

A ministry leader from India recently shared with GCP how the resurgence of COVID-19 has affected his country. “This second wave is devastating the nation,” he said. “In the past three weeks, more pastors and believers were killed by the virus than the entirety of the previous year. Hospitals, cemeteries, crematoriums are overwhelmed and overcrowded.”

In spite of the ministry being significantly impacted, our brothers and sisters continue to press on for the Lord. Ministry leaders have tried to adjust by holding ministry meetings through the internet and phones. Churches are more united for regular prayer and arranging food distributions among the believers and non-believers. The leader asked GCP to pray for their safety, protection, and to be able to continue effectively reaching the unreached despite the situation. Please partner with GCP in praying and providing food bags to those who have lost their income as a result of the pandemic.
