Pakistan: Blankets, Food Bags, and Mosquito Nets

Pakistan just went through the worst floods in six decades. Over 7.9 million are displaced, and over 23,900 schools and 2 million houses have been destroyed or damaged. As a result, many people are living outside covering themselves with tarps, branches, or whatever else they can find to provide shelter. The rampant homelessness, and lack of healthcare access, combined with a sharp rise in mosquitos due to the widespread flooding has resulted in sky-rocketing numbers of people suffering from malaria, dengue fever, and other deadly preventable diseases. To make matters worse, the Muslim Pakistani government is denying Christian families of the little help they are providing. GCP has been helping our faith family in Pakistan during this time. We need to provide more mosquito nets alongside food packages and blankets to get our brothers and sisters through these difficult winter months. Please consider a gift of $15/winter blanket, $5/mosquito net, or $20 for a food package.

Please pray that these items will showcase the love of Christ for Pakistani families in desperate need.
