Israel/Gaza: Bringing the Light of Christ in Dark Times

GCP’s partnered ministry working in Bethlehem recently sent us an update about the current challenges that surround their region. The conflict between Israel and Gaza has brought devastating losses, including 50,000 Palestinian lives and the destruction of 70% of Gaza. The human cost of the conflict weighs heavily. The church remains committed to proclaiming the Gospel and meeting the needs of Palestinian families in desperation.  This ministry, with the help of GCP, is addressing the severe economic crisis in the region by distributing food packages to provide essential items for families in need. This initiative is part of a broader effort to bring hope through practical support. The support includes covering costs for medicine, electricity, and education. The ministry leader has expressed deep gratitude towards GCP donors for their support as this is what made this possible. The ministry’s current needs include shelter (tents) for Christians in Gaza, children’s milk, food, and medicine. Additionally, they are working on job creation programs to provide income for those affected by the war, with a daily cost of $40 per worker. Lastly, prayers for wisdom, boldness, and encouragement during these uncertain times are appreciated above all.

Please pray for Christians in this region suffering through conflict and devastating losses. Pray over the faithful work of this ministry as their efforts continue to bring relief and the love of Christ to those in desperate need.
