Puerto Rico: Another Successful Missions Conference
On Saturday, March 22, Global Commission Partners held its National Mission Conference in Puerto Rico! We had the participation of Pr. René Pereira, who spoke about missionary work from the perspective of a local church and challenged, especially the pastors present, to be actively involved. Brother Ayouba Moussa from Niger, presented to us via Zoom, the reality of persecuted Christians within a Muslim country like his. Finally, Brother Nabil Isaac told us about the spirit of fear that many of the churches in the Middle East suffer when it comes to reaching Muslims and challenged us all to take our stand in Christ to advance His kingdom.
A wonderful testimony was that of the boy Rafael Uziel Torres, who at the young age of 9, raised over $2,000 for 7 water wells in Pakistan. Photos of each of these wells were shown at the conference. On the day that Rafael Uziel testified about this in his church, a brother who was visiting the church was touched by the Lord and made an offering for 20 more wells. In addition to all this, a good number of missionaries were sponsored during the conference, as well as help for other projects. We give glory and honor to our Lord Jesus for allowing us to hold this congress.
Please pray that God will continue to touch the hearts of donors throughout Puerto Rico to partner with us to reach the nations!
