Gaza/ West Bank: Christians in Desperate Need of Aid
Gaza and the West Bank continue to struggle since Hamas’ October 7th terrorist attack on Israel. According to recent reports from our GCP-sponsored missionary working in these regions, the situation in Gaza remains grim. He reports that the Palestinian Christians there have been having difficulty meeting their daily needs. Their diet is often just a small piece of bread and canned items. Additionally, there is an 80% unemployment rate among Christians in Bethlehem (West Bank). Despite limited resources, the church has stepped in to offer support. Our supported ministry provides rent assistance, food, utilities, medicine, clothing, and emotional care. In the last few months, this ministry was able to help over one thousand families in both Bethlehem and Gaza
As this need only continues to grow, please consider partnering with GCP to help our brothers and sisters struggling to survive. Our fellow believers in this region need our continued support and prayers.
Please pray that the Lord will continue to provide for the needs of Christians suffering in both regions; pray that the Lord will bring peace.
