Nepal: A Growing Church amid Persecution

Christians in Nepal are facing persecution at a growing rate. It was recently reported to GCP that several missionaries were verbally threatened and several beaten when spreading the Gospel. Additionally, eight months ago, one of our ministry’s church buildings was destroyed by Hindu radicals in the area. The Nepalese government continues to ignore the anguish that Christians are going through and continues to propose laws that discriminate against our faith. Despite this concerning trend, our missionaries report that they have churches that are growing with new believers quickly! We praise God for the advancement of the Gospel in Nepal and for the dedication of this ministry to persevering through these challenges.
