Iraq: Salvation Among Kurdish Muslims

We recently received the following report about the work of dear brother Samir (blue shirt), one of the most effective native missionaries in all of Iraq:

“This past May, a man named Shawan (black T-shirt), who was previously a preacher in a mosque, left Islam and wanted to learn who was the one true God. We gave him a Bible and told him that’s where the true God is. We were filled with joy when we learned he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior earlier this June. In July, 6 other people gave their lives to Christ; and so far in August the number is at 11. We praise the Lord for the evangelistic work of brother Samir who continues sharing the Gospel among the very difficult Kurdish Muslims of northern Iraq.

Please pray that the Lord protects missionary Samir as he goes out sharing the Gospel with religious Muslim leaders and others.
