Iraq: The Brother that Lost Everything

This is a report from our dear brother Samir. When Samir decided to follow Christ, Muslims threatened his life and family. Eventually Samir lost his job, his house, his wife and thought he’d never see his children again. Here is a report in his own words of what he’s accomplishing today in Iraq (For security reasons he’s using the word “holybooks” for Bibles and “jeus” for Jesus.):

“We conducted 4 discipleship courses outside of Sulaimany and gave out 550 holybooks. We distributed 210 hollybooks to Kurdish camps in Iran and Turkey. 53 people have also contacted us on Facebook and have asked for a hollybook, which were then distributed to other people. So far, 25 persons have accepted jeus in this city. In Erbil 18 people have accepted jeus. In Rawandz 8 people, in Kirkuk 11 people, 9 people inside Iran, 3 people in Dohuk, 15 people in Koya, Ranya, and Galladze, and 25 other people in separate places. Brother Afshi led 3 families to jues as well. Over 150 people have come jues.” Praise God!

Please pray for our brother Samir and his fellow missionaries as they continue preaching the Gospel in this difficult country.
