Food Pantry: Meeting the Needs of New Believers
For many believers around the world, choosing to follow Jesus comes with many sacrifices and challenges. This is especially true for those who are in Muslim majority countries, where many new believers are at risk of extreme persecution, poverty, and violence. In Northern Africa, our partnered ministry has noticed a great need for families that have recently chosen to follow Jesus. As of right now, there are 30 families who have been forced to leave everything and everyone behind because of their unwavering new faith in Jesus Christ. Many have escaped and are enduring persistent persecution from relatives, while others are struggling in poverty because of economic and employment challenges - also due to their faith. GCP is joining our partnered ministry in this vital mission to help our brothers and sisters with their physical and spiritual needs. We are looking for support in opening a food pantry for these families. This pantry will provide food staples like beans, rice, bread, and more to ensure that these families will never have to go hungry. Finally, every family will be given spiritual support, sound doctrine, and prayer to encourage their faith. These items will offer comfort and warmth, reminding them that they are loved and cared for by their Christian brothers and sisters worldwide. This Christmas season consider partnering with us in easing the hardships of our faith family. ($25 each family)
Please that this food pantry will act as a light of Christ’s love to new believers suffering under persecution.
