Nigeria: “God Sent You to My Village”

Northern Nigeria is one of the most dangerous regions for believers in the world; predictably, it is also one of the most unreached by the Gospel. This is why GCP has partnered with a physician who leads a ministry conducting medical clinics and evangelistic outreaches in this region.

On March 6 and 7, this brother’s ministry held an outreach at a remote village that saw many people come to Christ. One of them was a young man named Abdulkareem Yari who told the ministry, “I believe God sent you to my village for me. I was on the farm that Sunday when I heard gospel music from your horn speakers. I felt something calling me to go to the sound and I immediately abandoned the farm work and arrived just before the preaching started.” That day, Abdulkareem gave his life to Jesus. This young man was just one of 136 people who came to Christ during this outreach! We thank God for this ministry’s bold and fruitful work in this difficult region!

Please pray that God will grow GCP’s partner ministry in northern Nigeria, so that they will be able to conduct more outreaches and bring more unreached people to Christ.
