India: “Training the Trainers”

One of our leaders recently reported the following to us:

“This year from a training perspective our approach has been “Train the trainers”. In this approach, we train our senior key leaders in Delhi. On returning to their fields these leaders train their respective coworkers, who in turn will train their next-level coworkers thus forming a chain. The residential training in Delhi will take place in different phases at a gap of approximately 3 months. As the funds were available, selected trainees were sent with resources such as 16 LED screens, 42 (64GB) pen drives, 32 mobiles, and required training manuals in Hindi and Oriya languages. The first training took place in August 2021 in Delhi where 40 key leaders both men and women from 7 Indian States were trained. They went back and trained over 1,200 pioneer second-level coworkers in their respective places who now will train more leaders in the near future.

The second training in Delhi was from Nov 2nd to Nov 11th, 2021, with 29 key leaders and was a great blessing. They were sent with immediate required resources as well. This time we provided 177(32GB) more pen drives, 16 LED screens, 3 mobiles, and 5 printers. Very soon by road transport, we will be sending 7,000 required Hindi and Oriya training manuals to the mission fields for their immediate needs. The Lord has been merciful and the impact on the ground has been immense. We have been able to reach out to more for grass root level teaching, development, and ensuring our desired objectives of expansion in sowing. God has provided 60% of our need for both the training at Delhi and the Mission fields. However, there is still a need for $15,000 which will help us to meet the training expenses at Delhi and further cost for training at the field level in relation to this second training.”
