Pakistan: Reaching a New Community

Our missionaries in Pakistan are tirelessly reaching out to unreached people groups, passionately sharing the word of God amid persecution and tribulations. A GCP missionary named Kashif shares this story on the perseverance of the Gospel in the face of persecution:

“I embarked on a journey to spread the Word of God among the Sikh community. When visiting local gatherings and events, I am always respectful of Sikh traditions and customs. I engaged in meaningful conversations, highlighting the themes of love, peace, and spiritual connection in Christ. However, not everyone was as receptive, and I faced various forms of persecution. I received threats and was occasionally heckled during my speaking. Some individuals even started to protest while I was still preaching. Despite the challenges, I remained steadfast in my mission, choosing to respond to hostility with kindness and empathy. The tensions began to ease, and I was able to continue engaging in meaningful conversations that helped bridge the gap between my beliefs and those of the Sikh community. That day, five people accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior!”

Please join us in prayer as we lift up our missionaries in Pakistan. Pray the Lord continues to open the hearts of communities being reached for his Kingdom. Pray the Lord continues to guide and protect our missionaries as they continue to boldly claim His name among their nations!
