Nepal: Winter Clothes for Children
Nepal is the beautiful home of Mount Everest! With a population of 30 million, 81.3% Hindu, 9.0 Buddhist, 4,4 Muslim, 3.9% Ethnic Religions, and only 1.4% Christians. Until 2008, Nepal was the only Hindu kingdom in the world. In recent years, the church in Nepal has become one of the top ten fastest growing in the world. The ministry leader we support in Nepal oversees a team that has planted over 80 churches. He shares an urgent need with us
“If we get $5000/ relief funds we plan to help children whose parents are unable to buy winter clothing for their children. In Nepal, winter starts from last week of October to first week of March. I have seen those poorest of poor children are always shivering in the cold season because they have no winter cloths. I can distribute winter clothes to 300 Children of Nawalparasi district and Palpa district. If we buy in bulk, we can buy one pair of woolen sweater and trouser for $16-$18 and we can provide winter clothing to 300 children.”
Please pray that we can raise the funds the ministry needs to distribute the clothes for this 300 children.
