India: Medical Clinics

In November 2021, India experienced the 4th wave of COVID spreading across the country, and many states went into lockdown. In West Bengal, cases rose rapidly, which caused many people to need medical care immediately. Several months have passed and recovery has been slow, with many families still dealing with the economic ramifications of the lockdowns, inflation, and employment instability. This means many of these families still cannot afford to get the medical care they need. This is why GCP continues to help with medical clinics in West Bengal. Not only are they a great way to give the community accessible medical attention, but it is also a way for believers to spread the love of God.

GCP and its partnered ministry in West Bengal have recently provided funds to open another clinic in an unreached area to provide families with free medical attention. This clinic allows the community to come for doctor visits, medical advice, and even medications they might need. To help fight COVID, the clinic has also handed out free masks and hand sanitizers to anyone in need. The community is not only grateful for the much-needed clinic but also for the Good News. The ministry has reported many testimonies of people being touched by the love of God after hearing the Gospel during their treatment. Please pray we can continually expand our clinics to areas in need!
