Ukraine: An Urgent Need for God's Word

Ukrainians experiencing the consequences of war are in need of Bibles now more than ever. Our partnered ministry working in the region recently shared that new believers all over the country are hungry for God’s Word, but there are few Bibles to go around. Additionally, very few people have access to a computer or a smartphone, and those who do still do not have access to the internet due to the war.

In the past year, GCP alongside our partners has distributed more than 173,000 copies of the Bible to several different regions of Ukraine. Standard and children’s Bibles, along with specialty printed Bibles with large print for the elderly, were among those copies given to Ukrainians in search of peace and comfort amidst their turmoil. There is a great need for Bibles with large print for the elderly. The missionaries in this country are struggling to keep up with the printing of Bibles.
