Bangladesh: A Key Project Completed!

Orphans receiving hygiene products for Christmas.

Bangladesh is a relatively small and poor country in southeast Asia with a population of over 172 million. It has 298 people groups out of which 278 are considered unreached by the Gospel. Over 90% of its population is Muslim and there is only 0.3% of Christian adherents. The number of Evangelicals is unknown. The southeast of the country is a jungle area that holds many of these unreached people groups. There are also rebel groups, so the government does not allow any foreigners into this region, meaning only native missionaries are spreading the Gospel to these ethnic groups.

GCP has been dedicated to supporting these missionaries and most recently has done so by finishing the construction of a two-story building that will hold a missionary training center as well as an orphanage for 40 kids! This building will triple the number of missionaries being trained and sent to the fields. Additionally, the ministry leader tells us that by age 18 many of the orphans will likely volunteer to serve in the ministry. We want to thank the donors who made this important project possible in one of the most difficult and remote regions of the world! God bless you!

Please pray that this new missionary training center will create and send hundreds of passionate and equipped missionaries to reach the unreached of Bangladesh.
