Afghanistan: A Crucial Project

In 2021, the rapid takeover by the Taliban changed the lives of Afghan citizens for the worse. Women from poor families have suffered in particular as they now have little to no options to earn money for their struggling households. This is why GCP and our partnered ministry working within the country are developing ways to help these women while also spreading the Gospel. One of the ways we’re doing this is with our sewing machine project. Sewing machines are an amazing way for women to earn income within their homes and support their families financially. Our missionaries provide the sewing machines as well as training and materials. Additionally, the distribution of these sewing machines is an evangelistic outreach event itself where the Good News is shared with every woman in attendance. Please consider partnering with GCP to help empower Afghan women and reach them with the Gospel.
