India: Combatting Dengue Fever

Several regions in India are facing a Dengue fever epidemic after the monsoon season hit the country. Many villages and communities, including Ramganga, Balrampur, West Bengal, and more don’t have the proper drainage to handle the excess rain, leading to an infestation of mosquitos. According to our native missionaries, over 1,500 people are hospitalized with the fever and the government is struggling to provide aid to those in need as the numbers continue to rise. Our GCP-partnered ministries are planning to distribute mosquito nets, repellent, and food bag aid to villages in critical need. The estimated cost for mosquito nets is $7 depending on the size, and the repellent costs as little as $1 and lasts one person over 2 weeks. Our missionaries will be reaching these communities with not only these essential supplies but also using them as a means to share the Gospel. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us in helping our brothers and sisters in India?

Please pray for healing across India for those suffering from Dengue fever. Pray that these supplies will serve as a light towards Christ amid the crisis.
